About
I believe that philosophy is not just a ‘way of seeing’ but also a ‘way of living’. Therefore, my work with clients usually finds us at the intersection of knowledge and action. I also believe that philosophical counselling is not a purely rational process but an exchange where emotions have a crucial role to play. So rather than engage in a data-gathering session, I take an eclectic approach to client counselling that encourages articulating experiences in a creative dialogue and co-create questions to open up the space of possibilities. My approach has been very effective in addressing a range of life issues involving mental-moral dimensions. I consult with both Indian and Western philosophical traditions and can tell stories from all cultures where I find them apt.
I have developed over two decades of cross-disciplinary experience in science, arts, and humanities by working on diverse projects in various capacities in healthcare, education, life skills, entertainment, environment, and development. I am a certified philosophical practitioner from both APPA and PPAI, with a Master’s degree in Philosophy. I am the co-founder of WiseOne HelpSelf Wellness LLP, India, which aims to promote health awareness, improve the quality of education, and impart essential life skills through R&D, and application of concepts in philosophy and psychology by nurturing self-care and inspiring self-transformation.
